The Automation Developer will work within the team to help modernize operations by automating manual business processes through Robotic Process Automation, Power Automate, App Scripting, AI/Machine Learning, and Virtual Agents. You will be responsible for all aspects of implementing automation solutions from requirements gathering and assisting with documentation for development and testing. As a senior associate, you'll work as part of a team of automation developers, helping solve complex business issues as part of the digital strategy and report to the department head.
Key Responsibilities
Stay abreast with developments in your area of expertise to have the ability to provide a competitive edge and deliver effective solutions. Improve skills in automation products by completing certification. Effectively collaborate and assist key business stakeholders during the development and deployment lifecycle of automation. Develop and configure automation processes as per the technical design document to meet the defined requirements in alignment with business best practices. Develop new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured and maintainable. Participate in the development of new offerings and innovation in the automation space. Help to enforce design and coding standards, policies, and procedures while ensuring documentation is maintained. Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise. Resolve and report issues or risks to management in a timely manner. Follow risk management and compliance procedures. Build and maintain an internal and external network. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in information technology, architecture design and analysis. UiPath Qualifications in automation is mandatory. Solid understanding of computer programming and software development will be advantageous. Knowledge & Experience
One to three years of relative industry experience, with a demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies. Ability to understand and communicate detailed and advanced business solutions. Curious about technology, with the ability to quickly grasp and describe key aspects. Ability to meet clear deadlines. Possessing a go-getter attitude and is a self-starter willing to think out-of-the-box. Possessing effective written and verbal communication skills to be able to comprehend business problems and articulate the solution approaches. Demonstrate an agile mindset and being flexible to work through changing priorities. Demonstrate proven record of success in the implementation of software automation solutions. Demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the following - UiPath, Python, and/or Microsoft Power Automate. Demonstrate knowledge of various deployment models, including attended and Unattended. Working experience with one or more languages used for automating tasks e.g. python and JavaScript. Personal Attributes
