The General Practitioner will provide confidential clinical advice to patients, on a consultancy basis.
Key Role Outputs
Oversee referrals from The Medical Society centers.
Receive and analyze update treatment plans for patients based on referrals.
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments to patients or nominated family members.
Monitor Patient progress or responses to treatments.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results on CRM.
Manage Chronic Disease patients
Diagnose and treat variety of diseases and injuries in general practice - examines patients, using medical knowledge.
Analyze reports and diagnostic results of tests and or examinations by patients to authorize benefits.
Administers or prescribes treatments and drugs in accordance with scope of practice,
Counselling patients once diagnostics has been provided.
Conduct physical examinations to provide information needed for consideration for jobs, or eligibility for insurance coverage.
Consult on all clinical areas within the business.
Consult on clinical aspects of primary care centers
Ability to interact with hospitals and other medical facilities to facilitate admission.
MBChB/ MBBCh Degree.
Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Official license to practice.
Valid Drivers’ License with own reliable transport, travelling between branches and clinics may be required.
Clinical Trial Qualification
Plan, implement, or administer health programs, chronic management programs or standards in businesses for prevention or treatment of injury or illness.
Direct healthcare delivery programs.
Train and upskill employees, medical providers, and other health care professionals.
Clinical Trail exposure
Prepare official health documents or records.
Conduct research to increase knowledge about medical issues.
Draft and submit daily.
