Commencing duties on 16 July, 2018.
The requirements for this position are:
Proof of professional qualification, as well as a sexual offender’s clearance certificate and S.A.C.E. registration
The capacity to develop and sustain new teaching ideas
An effective and passionate approach to teaching with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
A commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the School
Proven record of innovation, commitment and professionalism
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (2016), MS Windows 10, Web2.0 and the latest trends in teaching through technology
Empowering students to be critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and to use information ethically incorporating multiple literacies
Collaborating with teachers for the design and implementation of curriculum development and learning theories
Providing the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the school library programme serves the intended purpose
Creating a resource-based environment that is conducive to active and participatory learning
Maintaining active membership in professional associations and a commitment to continuous personal and professional development
Leadership, organizational, and budget management skills
Involvement in the extra-curricular activities of the school
