We seek to appoint a dynamic graduate. Experience in working at an independent school would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. As the primary function of the post is related to the efficient and optimal management of the co-curricular programme and activities of the Preparatory School, flexibility and an ability to adapt to irregular hours is critical.
Execution and oversight of all administrative duties related to the efficient functioning of the co-curricular programme
Responding to and interacting with sporting bodies, service providers, schools and suppliers in order to facilitate the effective implementation of the co-curricular programme and activities
Ensuring that administrative systems, processes and databases are fit-for-purpose and well managed
Providing administrative support to staff, coaches and pupils
Organising meetings, training, coaching, tours, festivals, conferences and other events
Ensuring sound communication and positive interaction with staff
Working closely with senior management to achieve goals and objectives relating to the school’s co-curricular programme
Managing budgets, controlling financial expenditure and ensuring the appropriate use of resources
Liaising closely with the Facilities Manager and his team to ensure the optimal use of fields, courts and other facilities
Submitting a written report to the Head of School on a weekly basis outlining the activities of the previous week
Promoting the activities of the sports department and assisting with the marketing of the Preparatory School
Teaching and assessment as per the requirements of the timetable
Excellent I.T. and administrative skills
