The College is a prominent and established co-educational, non-denominational private school located on the East Rand of Gauteng, and which caters to Grades 000-12. Comprising a Pre-primary College, Junior College, and Senior College, the school currently serves approximately 1 100 learners.
Owing to the scheduled retirement, later this year, of the Principal of the Senior College, this highly-coveted position will become available for the 2019 academic year.
The successful candidate will be a key brand ambassador of the College, reporting to the Board of Directors, and accordingly possessed of significant and relevant experience, sound decision-making abilities, strong administrative and interpersonal skills, will exhibit formidable leadership and teamwork qualities and demonstrate a comfortable and harmonious alignment with the Woodlands ethos.
An experienced graduate educationalist with current SACE registration, further degrees or diplomas in psychology, business administration, or human resources management, and at least five years experience as Principal, Deputy Principal, or Head of Department of a reputable educational institution will be favoured. The preferred candidate will display a passion for education, possess a solid knowledge of information technology and, if appointed, will be charged with formulating and implementing the College’s technology initiatives.
