Job Description

The International School of South Africa is an independent Primary and Senior Boarding School situated on a large, superbly landscaped estate in Mahikeng, North West Province, with excellent teaching, residential, sporting and cultural facilities.

The School follows the Cambridge International Curriculum through to A Level, which provides an excellent grounding for tertiary study.

Applications are invited for the following position at the School:

Part-time Junior History Position (1 September – 5 December 2018)

This fixed term position entails the teaching of Junior History at Form One and Form Two level, the GETC Phase.

The requisite academic and teaching qualifications
SACE registration
The ability and experience to teach History up to Grade 10 Level in the Cambridge Curriculum, as part of IGCSE preparation.
The ability and willingness to contribute to the School’s extramural and hostel tutor programmes will be a consideration.
The ability to harness a sense of team; a team player.
A track record of excellence.
The School will offer a remuneration package commensurate with the nature of this position.
