Grade 4 Class Teacher
We invite applications for the above position which will be available from 1 January 2019.

The requirements for this position are:
A relevant teaching qualification from a recognised institution.
A sound and progressive understanding of the South African curriculum and international trends in education
The ability to differentiate and moderate curriculum to complement our innovative approach to education.
Experience or an understanding of Inquiry-based learning would be an advantage
A commitment to on-going personal and professional development
Relevant experience in teaching Intermediate Phase preferably within an Independent School environment.
A passion for teaching and for the young people whose learning you would be expected to inspire.
An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team.
A proven, experienced academic record.
Computer literacy and an interest in integrating IT into your teaching and learning.
A fundamentally future-orientated approach to teaching and learning.
Proof of registration with SACE and sexual offender’s clearance certificate.
An awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach
A willingness to work within the Church-based/Christian ethos of the College.
