We are therefore looking to appoint a Head of Boarding (grades 8 – 12) who will report to the Senior School Head.
This position requires the following skills, competencies and attributes:
Manage the day to day running of the boarding house
Care for the physical, emotional and academic needs of girls
Have experience in working with adolescent girls
Be compassionate and have exceptional people skills
Have a nurturing approach yet able to maintain discipline in the boarding house
Display characteristics of tenacity, responsibility, organization and ethical behaviour
Have a driver’s license and own vehicle. A PDP would be an advantage
Past teaching or nursing experience would be an advantage but not a prerequisite
Be expected to live in the head of boarding accommodation on campus
Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment
Be able to uphold the ethos and values of the school
Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register.
