Due to the relocation of the incumbent, Cornwall Hill College invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced educators for the following position, from 1st January 2019 or sooner by mutual agreement.
Deputy Principal – Senior Preparatory: Academics
The Core Functions of the position include:
Reporting to the Principal: Preparatory School.
Positively sharing the responsibility for leading the Preparatory School as part of a collegial and collaborative leadership team.
A comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.
Engaging in class teaching as per the workload of the relevant post and the needs of the school.
Willingly making a consistent and meaningful contribution to the desired co-curricular programme of the Prep School. Coaching of cricket and rugby would be a distinct advantage.
Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and policies.
Co-ordinate reporting, assessment and benchmarking processes.
“Champion” the use of IT and innovative teaching practices, including developing appropriate methodologies.
Assist the Principal with the staff appraisal, budgeting and staffing processes as required.
Serving on committees as required.

A minimum of a four (4) year teaching degree and be SACE registered.
