We seek to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about leading innovation in Mathematics. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Preparatory School teacher, with a proven track record of being able to engage successfully with students in this academic phase.

As a member of staff, the successful applicant will be expected to participate in, and contribute to the school’s innovative Future Focus Programme, designed around Project Based Learning. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to be part of a Staff Learning Programme focused on sharing and improving teaching practice, and thereby assuring every student of a quality learning experience.
Develop and maintain strategic and operational plans for innovation in Maths education that encourages creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Design and implement programs and initiatives that further the integration and blending of educational technology.
Create a programme of study that embraces the diversity of students that attend Redhill School, providing the necessary support to those who might struggle as well as providing extension opportunities for the mathematically talented.
Help develop a culture of creative innovation to meet the dynamic and evolving needs of an excellent 21st century school, by being an inspirational yet patient leader of best practices in innovation, experimentation, and technology integration.
Professional Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

An appropriate university degree and is registered with SACE
3 – 5 years experience in a similar position
A strong set of teaching skills, and relevant professional training.
Demonstrate an aptitude for innovative teaching methodologies and creative assessment design.
Strong communication skills: written, verbal, presentation, and training.
A collaborative, cooperative, and patient mind-set.
Visionary leadership that is in tune with the needs of a dynamic and diverse staff.
