The Drakensberg Boys’ Choir School seeks a vibrant and dynamic individual, willing to take on the responsibility of Marketing and Recruitment for the School, from 1 January 2019.
Reporting to the Executive Headmaster, the successful candidate will be required to work closely with all relevant departments in the school, as regards the planning and implementation of all marketing responsibilities, including but not limited to :
Development of an appropriate marketing strategy.
Co-ordinating and managing the marketing team.
Working closely with the Tours and Events Manager.
Driving a vigorous recruitment campaign, which includes ‘roadshows’ and visits to potential feeder schools, all aimed at filling the school.
Brand management and Corporate Image.
School communications (internal and external), relationship-building with stakeholder groups and social media presence.
The successful candidate will have :
An appropriate qualification and relevant work experience, preferably within a school environment.
Excellent organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven experience in various aspects of social media and graphic design.
Excellent inter-personal and communications skills in both spoken and written, English and Afrikaans.
The ability to work under very high pressure, whether alone or as part of a small, tightly-knit team.
