The Centre seeks to appoint an Education Mentor, to be based in Durban.
This is a part time, five mornings per week position
The purpose of this position is to mentor principals and teachers to deliver the GROW curriculum with excellence in an environment that meets the standards expected from a GROW school in order to achieve best practice educational outcomes.
GROW with Educare Centre visits:
Conduct four field visits to Centres under management per month
Mentoring and Training:
Assist with the facilitation of the eight weeks Education Induction training for all new Franchise Owners and Teachers
Assist with implementation at new Centres - upfront inventory check
Implementation of Early Inspirations App in Centres
Site visit checklist
Development / Children Reports – oversee process biannually
Inventory Checklist – oversee process annually
Teacher Evaluations – oversee process annually
Ensure all Centres are implementing the GROW curriculum and daily program
Ensure appropriate classroom layout
Ensure health and hygiene standards are maintained
Support Business Mentor with Registration Process for the Centres
Support the Business Mentor with the Government Subsidy Process for the Centres
Plan monthly Centre visits and submit to Education Implementation Manager
Update weekly operational report
Have managerial / leadership skills
Has experience in ECD.
The ability to speak IsiZulu would be an advantage
