The Children’s Hospital Trust is looking for an individual to take our 10-year-old legacy-giving programme to the next level. This role is responsible for creating new innovative ways of building, developing and nurturing strong relationships with donors. The successful person will conceptualize and drive the implementation of marketing ideas for the delivery and growth of the organisation’s bequest strategy. The key objective of this role is to ensure that Bequest fundraising is promoted effectively to the Trust’s target market; leads are cultivated, and supporters are retained over time.
Working closely with your team members, this creative strategist will assist with the implementation of the bequest strategy from bequest communications to personalised stewardship of current and potential bequestors through to estate administration and actively contribute towards the Childrens Hospital Trust’s Fundraising Strategy.
Qualifications, work experience and skills
We are looking for someone with a passion for people; proven marketing and/or fundraising and strategic skills, a confident communicator with a record of developing innovative marketing approaches and outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal). You will have an entrepreneurial mindset with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing or fundraising position with the strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with individual supporters, their families and potential supporters. Candidates must have their own car and a valid driver’s licence.
