Cornwall Hill College, a co‐educational independent school in Irene, Centurion, invites applications for the following PART‐TIME teaching post to commence duties on the 13th May 2019.
The key performance areas of the position include:
Teaching of individual and group lessons from beginner to advance levels.
Teaching electric, bass and classical guitar from beginner to advance levels
Entering of pupils for internal and external practical examinations (IEB, ABRSM, TRINITY, ROCK SCHOOL)
Entering of pupils for music competition.
Leading and rehearsing the Guitar ensemble
Teaching of Music theory
Assistance with musical functions, relevant to pupils
Administrative tasks related to pupils
The successful candidate should:
Have a BMus degree or equivalent, plus a proven record of teaching
Available to teach in the mornings and afternoon
Have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Have the ability to work as a member of a team
Have a valid SACE registration
