What will you do?
Responsible for performing calculations, liaises with other departments both verbally and in writing. Handles fund terminations, paid up schemes and members, medicals, broker changes, commissions, switches and elections, fund updates and paid claims for withdrawals. Incumbent also responsible for retirement, death, funeral and withdrawal quotations.

Administration of retirement Funds and maintenance of member level transactions across functional systems and functional areas within SEB Core
Supervision of and sign-off correctness of administrator(s) processing, recording, reporting and related compliance matters
Adhere to service level agreements. (Internal and external) Adhere to internal controls and procedures in place
Professional verbal and written communication and reporting to clients
A thorough understanding of and compliance with the Pension Fund Act, Fund Rules and Income Tax Act and any the relevant legislative requirements
Investigate, resolve and respond to ad hoc operational requirements, internal and external
Identify and inform management of any issues
Handle all internal and external client requests and inquiries in a professional manner
monitor the work management system and escalate critical incidents
foster and maintain the relationship with internal departments e.g. internal auditing and fund accounting
effectively manage and coordinate the daily workloads and work functions of a small team
provide team leader with input on the team members training needs on business processes and systems
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 with 3 to 4 years related experience.
